Design Statement: Good design is more than aesthetics; it is about creating spaces that feel welcoming, meaningful, and emotionally engaging. I believe users should benefit from the atmosphere of a space and carry a lasting sense of comfort and connection with them even after they leave. My design process begins with a strong conceptual foundation, which evolves into a clear spatial narrative where every element supports the overall vision. I pay close attention to details such as lighting, layout, materials, textures, and colour palettes, as these elements directly shape how a space functions, feels, and is experienced. My ultimate goal is to create environments that feel warm, comfortable, and inviting, while being practical and responsive to everyday use – “where the flow becomes the feeling”
Project Overview: The concept for FLOW Social Community Centre explores how spaces born from crisis can be reimagined as places of positivity, movement, and restoration. Inspired by the Beirut Garbage Crisis, the project responds to conditions of pressure, neglect, and instability by proposing an environment that prioritizes connection, well-being, and restoration. By adapting the House of Wisdom into a fitness‑oriented social community center, the project creates a contemporary space that supports both physical activity and social interaction. FLOW encourages people to come together, stay active, and recharge- transforming the narrative of crisis into one of renewals.
